Industrial Furniture & Home Décor Tips - الأثاث الصناعي ونصائح ديكور المنزل

Inspired by the open floor plans and bare bones of factories and warehouses, industrial style celebrates raw elements of metal, wood, brick and concrete. However, despite its edgy, urban appeal, industrial style furniture is incredibly malleable. With the right color palette and addition of subtle accents, it’s easy to incorporate a touch of modern, mid-century style.

Start with the bare bones

·       Take a look at the walls and internal makeup of the home. Exposed pipes and ducts, worn brick, unfinished flooring, and wood are great inspiration for industrial décor.

Tone down color. Amp up texture.

·       An industrial color palette typically consists of earth tones. Shades of gray, tan, and ivory closely reflect the colors of metal, wood, and white-washed spaces. Add depth and warmth with pieces that incorporate fabric.

·       Industrial style benches will often feature metal legs with canvas or linen upholstery.

·       Rugs featuring distressed patterns add some softness underfoot and a pop of subtle color.

·       Industrial style bar stools and coffee tables often feature natural textures such as worn leather or knotted wood surfaces

Shop utilitarian

·       A vintage or refurbished look gives furniture and décor an instant industrial vibe. Think worn wooden surfaces, metal frames (iron, copper, aluminum, stainless steel), and exposed hardware, especially pieces that combine two or more of these qualities like an industrial desk.

·       Eclectic items such as old street signs, maps, and blueprints add a sense of utilitarianism to the décor.

·       المظاهر العتيقة أو التي تم تجديدها تعطي فورًا الأثاث والديكور نفحة صناعية. فكّر بالأسطح الخشبية القديمة، الإطارات المعدنية (الحديد، والنحاس، الألومنيوم، الستاينلس ستيل) والمعدات البارزة، خصوصًا القطع التي تجمع إثنين أو أكثر من هذه الصفات كمكتب من الطراز الصناعي على سبيل المثال.
